Good Bye to our oldest lady

The oldest lady in France, who was born in 1898 and lived in a nursing home here in Argeles Sur Mer passed away this New Years Day 2012
A life straddling 3 centuries, she lived to be a whopping 113 years and 282 days. Married twice, she never had any children and according to the staff at the nursing home, died peacefully , with a smile and no regrets.
In her life, she had known 19 presidents of the Republic, 9 popes, the arrival of such things as the fridge, television, paid leave (1936), the ancient franc, the new franc and the euro.
May you Rest in Peace, Marcelle Narbonne.
